Chicken Soup Recipe #7

Here is a card I made inspired by the latest recipe at Chicken Soup. The inspiration was provided by an illustration of the children's story The Princess and the Pea. I thought this image by Marsha Jorgensen of the Tumble Fish Studio was perfect for lazing on top my layered scraps. I added a few strips of ribbon too and stamped the sentiment. I don't think I'll be doing much lazing around in the sun as it hasn't made an appearance for a few days and today feels most Autumnal - think wet and windy. Maybe that's why my thoughts have turned to knitting..........I'll be back later in the week to share more on that and a little sewing project I volunteered for :-)

I love that! Made me think of that advert - is it for Sky? I'm looking forward to seeing that sewing project.

Brill card, Love the reclining lady. It's funny how we are all so fickle. Your thinking about kniting and I'm thinking of sorting all my summer clothes out ready for the jumpers!
