Pretty Paper Party - Strips and Scraps

I'm still partying and look I have another layout completed. I've wanted to scrap this photo for ages as I love the colours of the hydrangeas. It was taken in the Garden Cafe on a visit to the V&A.

I'm feeling good about not using new supplies and pleased to be showing off some favourite paper, although I still have quite a few sheets of the Noteworthy design. I know, I'm guilty of panic buying. Please tell me you've done the same.

I'm not entirely happy with this layout and I can't decide if I should add some stalks (stitched maybe?) to the flowers on the righthand side or if I should leave it as it is. They look like they're floating to me and need to be anchored.

I'll stop fretting about it for now and just feel satisfied that I've done some scrapping.

I love this colour combination and sets off the colours of the hydrangeas a treat. Hmmm, it does look nice as it is but I agree a few stitched twirly vines or leaves would break up that block of White but then again that's just my aversion to White space:)

I love these colours....and they are perfect with hydrangeas. I like all the white....and it looks finished to me.

You were harbouring the perfect papers for your photo. The colours are great and I too love all the white space!

I always love a bit of stitching, so I think that would look really good. But I also like it now - it has a calm feel to it.

Beautiful colours, lovely page. I love the half doily. I was going to say the stitching would look good, but also agree that it looks fine without. Maybe scraplift yourself [like SJ's 'Take One' idea]and try it with stitching next time.

This is such a pretty page! Totally made me think of Julie (I see she commented right above me!) latest color combination!

Oh, and to answer your quesiton, I would maybe add some stitched green flourish around the flowers :)
