I knitted these from a pattern here at creative yarn and I will soon be adding some to my shop. I couldn't resist these fabulous colours in Louisa Harding Kashmir, some gorgeous greens and blues.
I've also squeezed in some sewing by stitching an owl cushion.
After sketching out what I wanted my finished owl to look like I made my own paper pattern and here he is in more Autumn inspired colours.Do you love Autumn too? I'd love to hear if the season has inspired any of your crafting.

I love the fingerless gloves, Amanda. I have a pattern from last year but have still made no attempt to make them. You have jogged my memory, thank you! I have stashes of wool so I need to get it out, especially now the darker nights are drawing in. Sitting round the log burner knitting is appealing.
Well you know I LOVE autumn already don't you? My blog is a seasonal autumn shade, my conkers are glowing and my lovely knits are out of storage. Love the gloves ESP the denim blue colour, your so clever. Your owl is super cute too.
Fantastic gloves Amanda....i wish i liked knitting, then i might be tempted to try them out! Your owl cushion is beautiful and very clever of you to make your own pattern!
These gloves are just lovely - the texture just makes me want to reach right in and touch them! I love autumn too but it always seems to go so fast ..
They are gorgeous! I have finished the cardigan and I'm now hunting about for another pattern to get started on - I've seen a couple of nice knitted dresses. Dare I (both try knitting one and try wearing one!)
